    Steamboat Campground

    By PK | July 27, 2008

Open year round, the Steamboat Springs Campground is THE place to stay if you’re RVing. They are the only full-service campground just outside of Steamboat Springs. They also have camp sites available across the Yampa River. The campground is located at 3603 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat.

The main building houses the office, a small convenience store, a rec room, and a laundramat. Outside around the corner is located the restrooms and showers.

Inside the comfortably decorated rec room you’ll find a billiards table, cable tv, map of the area and a bulletin board listing activities in the area.

You’ll find Heather and Siam ready to accommodate your every need. I will have to praise their outstanding service to the Steamboat Campground. Upon registering, Heather or one of her associates will provide you with any details you need and supply you with a map of the campground and a brochure about Steamboat and the many activities available here at the campground or in Steamboat.

Other amenities are: Free Wifi, Free bus service to town, Fun cycle rentals, propane, cable TV, Group areas, picnic pavilions, AND…

    Swimming pool

    Cabins

    Mini Golf

    A playground for the children

And a terrific view of the Steamboat Ski Slopes

I would rate this campground a very nice place to stay. It’s quiet, shaded, a great place to bring the family. For more information about the rates and this campground, visit their website here.
