    Thursday, November 20th, 2008

For some people skiing is a hobby, for others it’s a way of life, a lifetime passion. Gary L. Wall, owner of Associated Building & Remodeling of Steamboat, commented “It’s my life, I live for it!” Gary is an avid visitor of the slopes and has lived in Steamboat for 10 years and skied here [...]

    Sunday, July 27th, 2008

Open year round, the Steamboat Springs Campground is THE place to stay if you’re RVing. They are the only full-service campground just outside of Steamboat Springs. They also have camp sites available across the Yampa River. The campground is located at 3603 Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat.

    Hiking Rabbit Ear’s Pass

    Saturday, July 19th, 2008

You often hear the phrase, ‘A picture is worth a thousand words,’ and also the phrase, ‘The picture does not do it justice.’ Both those phrases comply with hiking Rabbit Ear’s. I could never in a million years express the view from the top of Rabbit Ear’s, nor do any of the pictures I [...]

Denver and The Blue River Parkway

    Friday, July 11th, 2008

In May when you reach the Rocky Mountains you can’t predict the weather. A late spring snow storm can catch you unawares quickly. In Denver the temperature could be in the mid 50s or even higher, but when you reach the higher altitudes of the Rockies, it drops as quick as you’re ascending. As [...]
